This is an opportunity join the Flight Test Data Services team as an ETL (Ab Initio) developer. This team provides an obfuscation service for Enterprise applications in the lower environments. Security initiatives within the enterprise have highlighted the urgent need for data obfuscation on Personally Identifiable Information (PII) data.

The specific role that will be filled is multi-functional, requiring a blend of mainly project skills but also support experience is important. As mentioned above, the core ETL product used is Ab Initio running on Linux. As a developer you would be expected to take ownership of applications and be responsible for obfuscation rules using DML. You would also design, build, deploy and maintain new applications.

1. Design and build ETL applications based on existing templates, primarily to provide a golden copy of production data populated with obfuscated PII.

2. Create and improve technical processes within projects.

3. Set up and monitor data refresh and obfuscation schedules and be able to modify graphs/jobs/schedules to enhance performance.

4. Need to be able to work independently without significant supervision and you must be a team-oriented individual with a results driven attitude.

5. Be able to work cross functionally with a variety of internal IT organizations, DBAs, testers, other developers, external vendors and the management team.

6. Professionally deliver status updates to both management team and other project resources.

7. Provide expert technical input to project risk, dependency, change control and issue resolution discussions.

8. Mentor junior team members.
