Job Description:
Fund Raising Executive
Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible for research on potential donors such as NGOs, Trust and Corporate for funding opportunities.
Responsible for generating funds through different fundraising techniques.
Participate in sponsorship campaigns &fundraising activities as required.
Work towards achieving weekly/monthly/Quarterly targets set by Management.
Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly reports
Develop and maintain relationships with current and potential Donors.
Finding new donors while maintaining and developing relationships with existing donors
Developing new and creative fundraising ideas and activities.
Raising awareness of the charity and its work at local and national levels
Responsibilities include use of web-based fundraising activities.
Responsible for managing and regularly updating databases of Donors and their details
Writing proposal, sending emails to a wide range of potential and current donors
Skills Required:
2+ years of experience in fund raising activities for Charities for NGOs, Corporate Fund Raising etc
Experience with sales, Business Development, marketing, public relations, event management
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills, any other language including Hindi and other regional languages would be an added advantage
Passion for issues of social justice
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to inspire others
Good presentation skills & A good team player
Excellent networking, negotiating and relationship building skills
Willingness to travel
Education Qualification:
Graduate /MBA degree or equivalent
