Job Description:
WINDOWS APPLICATION SUPPORT CONSULTANT
Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintenance of the application systems
Identifying and troubleshooting application issues
Monitor process and software changes in production support,
Continuous and effective communication with the production support team and raise production support issues to the project team as required.
Responsible for root cause analysis, management communication and client relationship management within Infrastructure Service Support team members.
Involve in Production support activities
Provide solutions to complex issues by doing a thorough analysis of root cause and impact of the defect
Adherence to life cycle methodology and risk guidelines with regards to production changes are made.
Required skills:
Experience in Windows Application Support and development
Hands on experience in supporting applications in Multiple domains
Extensive experience developing and supporting applications
Experience using scripting skills in Perl, Unix Shell Scripting and Windows batch scripting.
Experience in Infrastructure Support, Configuration and Release Management.
Familiarity with Incident Management, Change Management and Problem Management.
Familiar with ITIL
Education Qualification:
Engineering degree or equivalent
