Job Description :
•Forward Plan the release windows and cycles across portfolio
•Manage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality Ensure application releases are executed on time
•Coordinate release and effort based on the service request backlog, pending service requests, third party applications, or operating system updates
•Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, sequence plan, schedule, resource required and scope changes
•Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations
•Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, Go/No-GO reviews
•Produce Deployment, Run Books and Implementation Plans
•Weekly Release execution and reporting success rate
•Negotiate, plan and manage all release activities
•Maintains the release schedule for all core services and ensure alignment across key partners and vendors.
•Continually work towards making improvements in the release process
•Participate in CAB meetings to discuss release scope and/or roadblocks
•Maintains a release repository and manages key information such release procedures, dependencies, schedules and notification lists
•Researches new software development and configuration management methodologies and technologies and analyzes their application to current configuration management needs
•Should contribute in CMDB updates to maintain data quality
•Maintain Knowledge Management for release activities
Required Technical Skills:
•Must have – Extensive knowledge in deployment/ coordinating releases for applications built using technologies like SharePoint/Remedy/Java and Mobile application deployment (Android, Airwatch and IOS )
•Ability to work in fast-paced environment with many software releases on many platforms
•Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
•4-5 years of previous release experience
•Good knowledge of software development lifecycle with ITIL V3 foundation certification
•Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
•Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills
•Advanced written and verbal communication skills are a must
