Role and Responsibilities

 Design, Develop, and Test Android applications.

 Responsible for evaluating new technologies to be implemented on mobile apps.

 Responsible for reviewing the implementation of mobile technologies to ensure they meet our guidelines.

 Evaluate and select from existing and emerging technologies for the options best fitting business needs.

 Contribute to all phases of an enterprise, full lifecycle project

 Able to multi-task and adapt quickly to agile, aggressive schedules

 Work closely with key business partners during entire lifecycle of the project

 Provide technical support & troubleshooting for production issues

 Working within standards and guidelines provided by Apple as well as business own technical standards.

 Scrum master for distributed team developing multiple mobile application projects

Must Have Technical Proficiency And Educational Qualification

 3-4+ years mobile application development experience with solid programming abilities include Core Java, uses of Android SDK for Phone and Tablet application development.

 Deep understanding of Android Architecture

 Experience with different 3rd party SDKs and integration.

 Experience in Apple Push Notification Services, Foundation Framework, Memory Management, Core Data and latest iOS APIs.

 Experience working XML/JSON and familiarity with REST/SOAP/ OAUTH methodologies.

 Passion for learning new technologies and eagerness to collaborate with other creative minds.

 Ability to translate concept designs into user interfaces on mobile devices

 Understanding of system and application performance limits and characteristics

 Developed and launched apps to the App Store

 Experience working on high-volume consumer products

 Committed to test driven development

 Code profiling and static analysis tools

 Use of Android tools for measuring and improving app performance

 Experience with Distributed Version Control systems (Git, SVN)

 Demonstrable capabilities in distributed database

 Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent

 3-4+ years of overall programming experience.

Preferred Skills

 Experience using HTML, CSS and JavaScript in mobile applications

 Server side development skills (PHP/Java/Ruby/Python)

 Cross platform development using Phonegap/Appcelerator/HTML5/Scancha/JQuery Mobile
