Primary Skills
a. Experience in Database technologies sound experience in handling working with data.
b. Should have at least 1 yrs. experience working on a Big Data Project not POC
c. Should have experience in HDFS, HIVE, SCOOP and MapReduce
d. Ability to write MapReduce jobs and UDFs. Good understanding of OOPs and Core Java
e. Strong experience in development and design with good and hands on HIVEQL knowledge
f. Candidate should be hands on development experience in Hadoop using MapReduce and or Hive.
g. Should have good knowledge about operating Systems, networking, filesystem, database
h. Familiarity on any data loading tool ETL
i. Good knowledge of database structures, theories, principles, and practices
j. Analytical and problem solving skills, applied to Big Data domain
Secondary Skills Desired
a. Should have customer facing technical presentation skills
b. Should have handled large volumes of data
c. Java Certifications Cloudera Certifications
d. Knowledge on performance optimization tuning
