JD:
• 6+ years Experience in Sybase DBA.
• Manage Sybase databases in financial sector
• Working knowledge of Installation, configuration, upgrades & patching.
• Backup and recovery methods including point in time recovery.
• Core Sybase admin with ASE 12.5, 15.X versions.
• Strong basic technical concepts & hands- on in Production Support environment.
• Experience into DBA monitoring tasks, manage, escalate incidents, database replications (MSA).
• Proficient in database performance monitoring and tuning, maintaining relational databases including backup/recovery procedures, SQL, T- SQL.
• Should have basic Unix commands knowledge or Shell / Perl Script is preferred.
