• In Depth  knowledge on RIT from administrator perspective. (Installation, Upgrade etc.)

• High level of  knowledge on how to do infrastructure setup in different scenarios like HTTP, MQ, REST protocol, RIT on z/OS etc

• Good knowledge on webservices concepts.

• Should have knowledge on Manual and automation testing of webservices using RIT.

• Should have good knowledge and experience on Service virtualisation using RIT (Ex: Sift and pass through Stubs, Database stubs, parametrised stubs etc) and recording using different recording modes (Ex: External Proxy Server, Packet Capture, Dynamic mirror queues, Queue browsing etc).

• Good knowledge on associated tools of RIT like RTCP, RTVS, Results database etc.

• Knowledge on mainframes and virtualizing calls from COBOL to DB2 using CICS 

• Knowledge on other Rational tools and inter dependency  for example, RD&T, RFT, RPT, RQM will be an advantage
