Responsibilities include: swiss replica watches
- Administer primarily MySQLdatabases in UNIX/Linux
- Provide 24x7 supports for production databases
- Install, configure, and upgrade database products
- Provide Proactive monitoring and tuning for databases
- Troubleshot database issues for applications
- Perform database backup/recovery
- Evaluate database features and new database technologies
- Work with developers to tune and enhance database applications and queries
- Document database processes and procedures
- Train and provide guidelines for junior database administrators
Skills and Experience Required:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or related field
- A minimum of 5 years database administration experience in MySQL in UNIX/Linux
- Experience in MySQL installation, configuration and upgrade
- Experience inconfiguring MySQL Master/Master and Master/Slave replication
- Experience in database, application, and query tuning
- Experience in database optimization and troubleshooting
- Experience in database backup and disaster recovery
- Experience in supporting largeproduction databases
- Ability to code Bash or Perl scripts
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to work independently or work with team members
Skills and Experience Preferred but not required:
- Knowledge of NoSQL database such as Cassandra or Mongo databases
- Knowledge of SQL Server Replication, Database Mirroring, and Log-shipping features
- Experience in utilizing Percona toolkits and XtraBackup
- Experience in configuring Percona cluster or Tungsten Replicator
- Knowledge of database cluster technologies
- Certifications in Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server
