- Designing, implementation administration and Consulting Experience in Linux Operating Systems
- Good trouble shooting skills and being able to mentor Linux specialists and handle Escalated calls.
- Musk have experience on open source tools like Cobbler, Puppet, Spacewalk, SaltStack Chef etc
- Must have good scripting knowledge
- Must have comprehensive and expert knowledge of Linux based solution architecture and its hardware / software products.
- KVM hypervisor implementation and administration skills.
- Should have designed and managed Highly Available / Disaster Recovery infrastructure.
- Experience of HPUX or Solaris Operating system / VMWARE
Essential Skills:
- Design, Build and administration of Linux Operating System
- Knowledge on OpenSource tools like Puppet,Chef, SaltStack
- Experience in Scripting languages like Shell Script, Perl
- Good understanding of Hypervisor technologies.
- Exposure to automation OS & application deployment.
- Exposure to firewall,load balancer
- Exposure to Linux Clustering & SE Linux
- Expertise in trouble shooting (performance fine tuning, etc. ) and implementing best practices.
- Experience in sizing and responding to RFPs.
- Experience in designing and architecting solutions.
- Presentation skills/Handling client visits.
- Knowledge on Problem management & incident management.
- Runbooks & SOPs creation & implementing best practices.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in backup audits/proposing new transformation themes.
- Experience in managing large datacenter.
- Knowledge on cloud concepts
- Knowledge on OpenStack
