- Build the capability on MySQL/PostgreSQL (Opensource DBs) technologies in Database Center of Excellence and Drives technology Excellence these areas.
- Conduct complex MySQL/PostgreSQL (Opensource DB) database systems technical reviews to improve performance, resource utilization and integrity.
- Undertake the evaluation, testing, implementation and maintenance of MySQL/PostgreSQL (Opensource DB) software products and services.
- Provide professional consultation to management and internal clients on technical issues associated with the MySQL/PostgreSQL (Opensource DB) database, and associated software products.
- Specify, design and develop utility programs as required to support to MySQL/PostgreSQL (Opensource DB) environment; and consult on their implementation and usage.
- Investigate, and provide solutions to, technical issues concerning the management and utilization of MySQL/PostgreSQL (Opensource DB) software products.
- Liaise and manage client’s satisfaction on technical issues.
- Identify Services to be rolled out to customer and Productize them in conjunction with the Productization team
- Evaluate New Products and technologies for rolling out to customers
- Drive Competency Development(skills and certifications) across the practice in all locations Best Replica Watches
- Drive and manage Best Practices and KM Initiative.
- Client and project related interactions with Delivery and Implementation teams
- Manages Alliances with Vendors like MySQL/PostgreSQL (Opensource DB), IBM, Microsoft, etc
- 8+ years of MySQL/PostgreSQL (Opensource DB) Database Administration and Consulting Experience.
- Exposure to System Management tools.
- Good trouble shooting skills and being able to mentor database specialists and handle Escalated calls.
- Must have worked on large production database environments.
- Must have comprehensive and expert knowledge of MySQL/PostgreSQL (Opensource DB) database architecture and software products, including a detailed knowledge of MySQL/PostgreSQL (Opensource DB) internals and database recovery techniques.
- MySQL/PostgreSQL (Opensource DB) Administration skills;
- Should have designed and managed Highly Available / Disaster Recovery infrastructure. MySQL/PostgreSQL (Opensource DB) skills preferred;
- Experience of Unix Operating system and facilities and Storage
