Job Description :
- Should have 9+ years of IT experience of which the last 2-3 years should be as Project Lead for a team size of 5-10, developing and implementing the NPS based solution
- Good Experience in understanding business requirements and converting into technical requirements.
- Should have experience in how to define scalable architecture for NPS appliance
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, dimensional data model, and ETL.
- Should be responsible for Design& Development of data warehousing applications on the Netezza
- Should have experience in design of dimensional models, star & snowflake schemas
- Strong hands on experience on Nzload .
- Expertise in writing SQL scripting queries.
- Should have good experience in shell schripting on Linux/Unix.
- Should have experience in performance optimization techniques for Netezza.
- Should have experience in configuring Data Security in RDBMS table structure.
- Should have experience in managing Data mart deployments, HA processing options and migration/recovery techniques.
- Should have ETL knowledge
- IBM Netezza Certification will be an added advantage.
- Should be able to estimate the efforts on DW Projects.
- Should have experience in preparing High Level Design docs.
- Should have experience in technical reviews of code developed by team members
- Experience in Server Capacity Planning, Performance tuning, data base administration is a plus.
- Ability to lead a technical team and provide coaching and guidance on DW solutions
- Ability to manage onshore/offshore co-ordinations
- Good understanding of SDLC process
- Strong communication skills and Willingness to work with stringent timelines.
- Good Customer communication / relationship management skills, Ability to manage client expectations
