Job Location- Mumbai/Pune
- 5 to 10 years’ experience in SQL Database Administration in large environments and teams
- Willing to work in mandatory 24x7 rotational shifts Excellent Communication Skills and Aptitude for learning
- Must have excellent understanding of SQL Server architecture, fundamentals and concepts
- Should have good understanding of ITIL and must adhere to policies and processes
Experience in the following areas:
- Installation; Configuration of SQL Server Software, Creation and Configuration of Databases
- Monitor and manage database sessions, jobs and scheduled tasks
- Space Management - Monitoring, Log file space management, database files management Security &
- Privilege Management - Create and maintain users, privileges and roles, enable disable database audits Understanding OS level Clusters - Active Passive
- Experience in monitoring database performance, generate session trace, should be able to do first level performance analysis for Performance issues Create and maintain maintenance plans and automated tasks
- Cloning Refresh of databases
- Backup & Recovery Writing T SQL Scripts for DBA tasks and power shell scripting Setup replication using log shipping mirroring
- troubleshooting replication issues Interacting with international clients and participating in Severity 1 Bridge calls
- weekly meetings Other General DBA Tasks
