- Strong Windows Knowledge
- Windows OS & AD Incident/Production Management
- Installing, Configuring and Hardening of Windows 2000 / 2003 Servers
- Installing, Configuring and Managing AD / DHCP / DNS Services
- Creating and managing virtual machines. Performing various tasks such as VMDK Expansions, virtual CPU and RAM upgrade, vSnapshot and clone creation and deletion, Capacity report, datastore creation on LUN extents6) Good knowledge on operating system Windows 7/Windows 2003/2008.
- Experience on Installation /Configuration/troubleshooting Server operating system.
- Knowledge on migration. Knowledge on Backup/restore process.
- Installation and troubleshooting of Vcenter 4.1/5.1. V-
- motion/DRS/HA/FT, storage system, SAN, NAS. Good understanding of
- networking concept, VLAN/Subnet etc., VB and PowerShell scripting
- Good understanding knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2007/2010 concepts, email flow, Public folder administration and troubleshooting, Mailbox administration and troubleshooting, mailbox restoration/recovery, NDR troubleshooting, Conference room and calendar troubleshooting, Distribution list creation and troubleshooting.Good written and verbal communication skill.
- Candidates with L2 and L3 support experience preferred.
- In depth knowledge and support experience with virtualization
- technologies including VMware ESX/ESXi
- In depth knowledge of migration of performing physical to
- physical, physical to virtual, virtual to physical, virtual to virtual
- cross technologies as well as physical to image and image to virtual
- using native tools and third party
- In depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server architecture
- Proficiency in configuring and administering zero RPO and low RTO for enterprise mission critical applications using EMC DMX3, VMAX with SRDF-S, SRDF-A
- Perform data replication, both local and extended distance using EMC, Timefinder/SRDF and Recoverpoint
- Ability to troubleshoot complex database performance issues
- Good experience in storage provisioning using SYMCLI, ECC, NavisecCLI, Navispehere and Unisphere for VMAX and VNX storage arrays
- Highly skilled in Cisco Director Class 9500 series FC SAN switches
