Designation: BI - Technology Specialist/ Sr. Technology Specialist/ Architect

Experience: 7+ years

Role Overview

* To work directly with the end-Client’s IT senior management and IT teams

* To recommend/ influence the strategic decisions around technology solutions

* To handle moderate to complex analysis efforts

* To validate fully or partially the defined requirements and support the development of detailed specifications

* To oversight, architecture, design, develop a BI solutions in support of BI Initiatives

Job Responsibilities:

* The candidate should have the enough experience in applying his/ her expertise to the architecture, design, development, and deployment of BI solutions that leverage or integrate with the existing technology stack, including data warehouse/data mart, reporting and OLAP/analytic solutions. This individual will have responsibility on complex projects to provide technology leadership and guidance to the Business Intelligence project team and will apply knowledge of best practices to guide the project team.

* Engage customers, community and managers at all levels to identify and understand key business issues and objectives, evaluate changes for organizational impacts and recommend an action plan by understanding of customer objectives, and evaluate changes for organizational impacts to facilitate cross-functional teams in designing business solutions + documenting the Customer’s objectives, requirements and detailed specifications on moderate to complex projects or operational issues & Lead and perform complex problem and workflow analysis, drawing conclusions and recommending resolution opportunities

 

* Identify emerging trends in IT solutions in order to better align technical solutions with customer needs and ensuring the delivered solution meets customer requirements by performing/ understanding the detailed process analysis, cost versus benefit analysis; and apply these skills routinely keeping in the mind about the Industry standard methodologies/ guidelines to manage and execute project activities

 

* Research/ recommend opportunities to apply business and technology solutions to areas of assigned responsibilities & by serving as ‘Technical Lead’ as well as provide hands-on design, development, and implementation support for the BI project team including providing leadership for future enhancements of BI solutions

 

* Responsible for the architecture of the complete BI environment, its design, performance, availability, and success, including ETL, data warehouse/data marts, and end user applications for reporting and analytics. Participate in reviews of all project efforts and ensure completeness of the architectural approach and documentation including logical and physical modeling for the data warehouse/data marts/cubes

 

* Responsible for the definition of both a short-term BI roadmap as well as long-term BI strategy by ensuring that business requirements can be satisfied by the most efficient and effective architectural solutions + the implementation of new or changed technology aligns with ASA\\\'s Technology Roadmap and is a viable approach to development in our current system architecture
